Burkey Meatloaf

  • Yield: 4 to 6 servings


1pound roll of ground beef
1pound roll of ground turkey
2whole eggs
1/2cup tomato sauce
1package Taste of Gourmet's Mama's Meatloaf Mix


Preheat your oven to 350-400 degrees.

In a mixing bowl combine the above ingredients.

Get out your Wilton meatloaf pan, and pour the well combined mix into your pan and smooth out the top with your heat resistant spatula.

Bake  for 1 hour and 10 minutes, give or take, to ensure the completeness.

*When you prick the meatloaf with the skewer and the juice runs clear, then turn out onto a heat resistant cutting board and let set for 5 minutes, or more while you make a quick  side of instant mashed potatoes.

Slice the meat loaf, and then put on plate with potatoes and garnish with your preference of topping and Enjoy!

*Tip for leftovers( if there are any)slice the loaf, and in a  couple of small containers layer : potato,loaf, etc…, till you run out of left overs . (You may have to cut to fit the container). Place lid on top of container, and refrigerate over night, and when you want lunch the next day cut a portion or two out, and nuke for 2:10 in the microwave, and top with your choice of topping.
