Budget Green Sauce

Fresh green sauce for use on anything from meat to pasta. Add whatever green you want -- spinach and arugula would be great options.


1 cup mint
1 cup parsley
1 cup basil
1/4 cup thyme
2 -- garlic cloves
1 -- lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
1 dash sherry vinegar
-- Salt and pepper


  1. Whirl all in food processor.
  2. Combine with 1 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into large strips. Marinate 4  to 24 hours.
  3. Saute on grill pan. Would be great on steak or fish as well.
