Brownies That Brag!
- Yield 16 servings
A rich and delicious chocolately treat.
Ingredients
- 1 -- (4-ounce) package German Sweet Chocolate
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 -- eggs
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and 3 tablespoons butter and cool. Blend rest of butter with cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon flour and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Set aside. Beat remaining eggs with 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup flour. Add cooled chocolate mixture. Add pecans and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread 1/2 chocolate mixture in an 8 or 9-inch square pan. Spread cheese mixture over chocolate. Then spread rest of chocolate mixture over top. Swirl to marbleize. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
