Ingredients 1/2 cup butter2 ounces unsweetened chocolate1 cup sugar2 eggs1/2 teaspoon vanilla1/4 cup all-purpose flour1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 325F. Butter and flour an 8-inch square pan. 2. Place butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. 3. Stir in sugar, 2 eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in flour and salt. Stir in walnuts, if using. 4. Bake about 40 minutes. Cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
