Brown Sugar Brownies
- Yield 16 pieces
A sweet and simple recipe for delicious brownies.
- 5 1/3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 -- egg
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (6-ounce) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- Melt butter or margarine in saucepan. Cool. Add sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8 or 9-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350F for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool before cutting into bars.
