You are here: Home » Recipes » Broccoli Bisque Broccoli Bisque Recipe by Grau Yield 8 servings PrintEmail Ingredients 1 1/2 pounds fresh broccoli, trimmed and cut up4 cups chicken broth1 medium oniion, quartered2 tablespoons butter1 teaspoon salt1 dash pepper2 teaspoons curry powder2 tablespoons fresh lime juice Instructions Place broccoli in large pot. Add broth, onion, butter, salt and pepper and curry powder. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 tp 12 minutes, until broccoli is tender. Blend with immersible blender or place 2 cups at a time in blender. Be careful as this is very hot! Stir in lime juice. Refrigerare for at least 4 hours. Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chives. Enjoy!
