Best Hot Fudge Sauce

  • Yield 10-12 servings

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
6 ounces chocolate bits
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat ina double boiler melt butter and bits. Add confectioners  sugar and evaporated milk.  Boil 8 minutes stirring all the time.  Remove from heat.  Add vanilla.You could also add Kahula for adults.  This is delicious over peppermint stick ice-cream.  It keeps for weeks in the refridgerator.
