Barbecue Beef Tips over Noodles with Green Specks

  • Yield: 4 - 6 servings

Ingredients

2-1/2pound lean stew meat
1teaspoon salt
1/4teaspoon pepper
1/2cup BBQ sauce
1/2cup ketchup
1cup beer
4tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2teaspoon Tabasco or other hot sauce, optional
1/2teaspoon Louisiana pepper sauce, optional
1/4cup salsa or picante sauce, optional
1/4teaspoon liquid smoke, optional
16ounces dried wide egg noodles
1/2teaspoon celery salt
1tablespoon butter
1/4cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper meat.
  2. Brown in large saucepan or small stew pot.
  3. Add all other ingredients.
  4. Cook at a low simmer until meat is tender – about 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
  5. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  6. Drain, reserving about 1/4 cup hot water.
  7. Add drained noodles, reserved water, and butter back to pan.
  8. Sprinkle noodles with celery salt.
  9. Stir in parsley.
