Beat in egg. Combine flour, ground nuts, baking powder and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas, blending thoroughly after each addition. Stir in chopped nuts. Pour batter into greased 8 ½ X 4 ½-inch loaf pan. Bake in 350F oven 50 to 55 minutes, until golden brown and pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan. Cool on rack before slicing.
