Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Turn ripe bananas into this unbeatable bread that boasts bananas, crunchy nuts, coconut and rich dark chocolate in every bite.


1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup canola oil
2 eggs
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven 350F. Coat a loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Combine sugar, honey, oil, eggs, mashed banana and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Combine flour and baking soda in a separate bowl. Combine flour mixture and banana mixture, and stir until seamlessly combined.Add walnuts, coconut and chocolate chips. Spoon batter into the loaf pan.
  4. Bake until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, about 50 minutes.
