PrintEmail This recipe was handed down through four generations of my family. It's good, quick and easy to make. And it makes the house smell really great! Ingredients 2 cups uncooked instant rice3 eggs1 cup sugar1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon vanilla3 cups milk2 tablespoons cinnamon-sugar mixture Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. Cook rice until tender, according to package instructions. In large ovenproof dish, beat eggs. Whisk in vanilla, salt, sugar and milk. Add cooked rice. To prevent rice from sticking to sides, place dish in a larger ovenproof pan filled with 2 inches of water. Bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over rice. Bake additional 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Tips From Our Test Kitchen: Top with whipped cream for a wonderful winter dessert. Recipe by Richard A.
