Baked Fudge

  • Yield 12 servings


4 -- Eggs
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Butter, melted (not spread)
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Cocoa
1 cup Nuts (Pecans or Walnuts)
2 teaspoons Vanilla


Cream eggs & sugar.  Add butter.  Sift flour & cocoa;  add to egg mixture.  Add nuts & vanilla.  Pour into 9×13 dish.  Set baking dish into a larger dish of hot water up to about half way up on mixture.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 – 60 minutes until crusty on top.  Base will be soft like fudge.
