Baked Apple

Ingredients

1 apple
1 to 2 tablespoon raisins
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Core apple.
  3. Mix raisins, cinnamon and vanilla. Fill apple with raisin mixture. Place apple in a baking dish. Add orange juice with water.
  4. Bake  30 to 35 minutes until apple is soft.

Variations: if your apple is not sweet enough, add some honey. Omit cinnamon and vanilla, add spices you like. Apple can be cooked on the stove (20-25 minutes).
