- Yield 6 to 8 servings
- 4 large Ripe Avocados
- 1 medium Roma Tomato
- 1 small Sweet Vadalia Onion
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 package Any restuarant-style tortilla chips for dipping
Peel and remove the pits from 4 large ripe avocados more can be used depending on the number of guests to serve. Smash all avocados with a fork until smooth and make sure there aren’t too many big lumps! Dice tomato and onion and set aside. Sprinkle garlic powder and lemon juice into the avocado mixture to taste! Fold in tomatoes and onions to desired consistency as you can always use the remaining amounts for fresh salsa or garnish. For added flavors try folding in some cilantro or use a couple of sprigs for garnish on top for a final finish! This is an awesome dip at parties and always a hit with my family!
P.S. Another tip for those of you who like a smoother consistency try using a little sour cream when smashing up the avocados to blend!
