Apricot Ascension

Dried apricots add flavor and fiber as well as potassium, iron and beta carotene to your morning smoothie.

Ingredients

1 cup 2-percent, soy, rice or oat milk
1/2 cup apricot juice
6 dried apricots
1 ripe banana, cut in 1-inch lengths and frozen
6 unsalted blanched almonds or brazil nuts, optional

Instructions

  1. In a food processor fitted with the metal blade or a blender, puree all ingredients until smooth.
