Apple Orchard Pork Chops
- Yield: 4 servings
- 4-- lean, thick (6-ounce) pork chops
- 3 to 4-- apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3 to 4tablespoons brown sugar
- -- Salt and pepper to taste
Brown pork chops on each side in a skillet coated with non-stick cooking spray. Add apple slices. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until chops and apples are done. Remove chops, and keep warm. Add brown sugar, salt and pepper to the apples in the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until glaze has formed. Serve chops on rice. Top with apple mixture.
