Easy Apple Crisp

8cups sliced, pared tart apples (about 8 medium)
1 1/2cups dark brown sugar
1cup all-purpose flour
1cup oats
1 1/2teaspoons nutmeg
1 1/2teaspoons cinnamon
2/3cup butter and margarine, softened (use 1/3 cup of each)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Butter a 13 x 9 inch pan. Place apple slices in pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 minutes.
