Easy Apple Crisp

  • Yield 12 servings

Ingredients

8 cups sliced, pared tart apples (about 8 medium)
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oats
1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
2/3 cup butter and margarine, softened (use 1/3 cup of each)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Butter a 13 x 9 inch pan. Place apple slices in pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 minutes.
