PrintEmail Ingredients 1/2 cup butter, softened2 cups sugar4 eggs2 cups flour2 teaspoons baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt5 cups chopped peeled apples1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 1/2 tablespoons sugar1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Instructions Cream butter at medium speed in mixer bowl until light. Add 2 cups sugar gradually, beating constantly until fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in apples and vanilla. Spoon into greased and floured 9×13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with mixture of 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
