Apple Cinnamon Rice

  • Yield 4 to 6 servings


3/4 cup long grain rice
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 cup chunky apple sauce
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)


In medium saucepan combine all  ingredients, except parsley.   Bring to a boil, stir. 

Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 15 minutes, or until rice is tender. Stir in parsley, if desired.
