Almond Butter Turtle Cookies

Almond butter and chocolate turtle candies make a rich, chewy cookie perfect with a glass of milk.
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup almond butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 to 2 cup chopped chocolate turtle candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine butter and almond butter; beat with mixer at medium speed until light. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in candy.
- Drop batter by tablespoons or ice cream scoop onto cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a cup dipped in sugar.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
