When I shop, I play a silly game at the check-out counter of guessing what people are going to make from the items in their carts. For example, the other day the woman in front of me was buying ground beef, rice, bell peppers and cheese. I said to her, "Stuffed peppers, right?"
She nodded, and we exchanged recipes. Mine, of course, was vegetarian; hers made with red meat. Here's my recipe for vegetarian Basil-Stuffed Red Pepper Rings.
