As a former Yankee happily transplanted in Southern soil, I'm all in favor of anything that includes the words lemonade, peach pie and pecans. String them all together and pile them into a flaky pastry, like I have here, and I've died and gone to pie heaven. Don't you dare try to make this without the best, sweet-ripe-and-juicy peaches you can find; mama would not approve. Lemonade concentrate? You bet. It comes across like a sassy Southern belle, with just the right touch of sweetness and pucker up-tartness to make a fine impression.
