The most vibrant and abundant produce of the summer is some of the healthiest too—particularly for those with osteoarthritis. Tomatoes and berries are bursting with beta-carotene and vitamin C; pesto is made with walnuts high in omega-3’s; and yogurt is packed with vitamin D. All are believed to help target painful symptoms of degenerative arthritis, and certainly, all make delicious use of summer's bounty of good (and good-for-you) things.
