Halloween Marshmallow Treats

We all have our embarrassing Halloween fears. Growing up, mine was The Stay Puff Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters—he truly terrified me beyond the capacity for rational thought. So for years I have been exacting my revenge on the entire marshmallow population using wooden pokers, fire, butter knives and an all-consuming appetite.

Join me this Halloween by making the following 'mallow treats. After all, the only thing scarier than Mr. Stay Puff, is a life without the fluff:

Ghastly Ghosts: Place three marshmallows onto wooden skewers and dip into melted white chocolate. While allowing your pops to cool on wax paper, turn them into ghosts using Red Hots for eyes and chocolate chips for mouths.

Peanut Butter Fluffers: Fill a bowl with Marshmallow Fluff then mix in a few drops of either orange or black food dye. Use the festive fluff to top our favorite peanut butter cookies. Add crumbled Oreos or Halloween sprinkles if desired.

Spooky S’mores: It’s hard to go wrong with chocolate and roasted mallows sandwiched between graham crackers. Don’t be afraid to get creative with your ingredient choices by swapping out grahams for your favorite cookies or by adding fresh fruit. Need more inspiration? Check out our creative recipes below.
