Harness all the great flavor of delicate blackberries in homemade fruit leather.
We count Meredith Steele as one of our favorite food bloggers. Anyone who names a blog In Sock Monkey Slippers is in our camp. When she and 4-year-old daughter, Mia, recently found themselves with a windfall of organic blackberries, they created this delicious homemade fruit leather. Honestly, we had never been persuaded to make this kind of thing before—it just seemed like a lot of work. But after seeing her beautiful step-by-step photos, we were on board. Purée, spread and bake. We can do that, and you can, too.
