Ham Leftovers
Surplus holiday ham gets a second chance at dinner.
Sometimes holiday ham is even more succulent the second time around. When you’ve got a gracious plenty after everyone has had their fill, put those meaty leftovers to work in a variety of tasty dishes to last the rest of the week.
- Add ham to corn chowder, potato bisque or creamy split pea soup.
- Bake up a quickie gratin with slivers of ham, thinly sliced Yukon Golds and sweet potatoes; bind with a creamy Swiss cheese bechamel sauce.
