The problem is, he puts it on everything, making shrimp, chicken and pork taste suspiciously similar. To my rescue are these zesty sides that make any grilled, smokey (or Dale-infused) meat taste great. They're all interchangeable, but I think the pesto is best with beef and the mango relish with fish. When I manage to wrestle the grill from my friend, I use a simple rub (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, a dash of ground red pepper and sugar) in place of the Dale's.
