Easy Sides for a Grilled Dinner
Top your grilled entree with a fresh relish or salsa.
My friend swears by Dale's all-purpose seasoning for the grill. The problem is, he puts it on everything, making shrimp, chicken and pork taste suspiciously similar. To my rescue are these zesty sides that make any grilled, smokey (or Dale-infused) meat taste great. They're all interchangeable, but I think the pesto is best with beef and the mango relish with fish. When I manage to wrestle the grill from my friend, I use a simple rub (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, a dash of ground red pepper and sugar) in place of the Dale's.
