Everyone who cooks (or who eats for that matter) has at least one secret weapon in their arsenal—an ingredient that, with very little fanfare or effort, helps put dinner on the table lickety-split.
Eggs, potatoes and pasta are some of our favorite go-to staples, but we love a can of soup too. Whether it's a tricked out bowl of tomato soup with bacon, milk and a toss of spinach and cheese (trust us on this one) or a criminally easy chicken bake that needs little more than a can of cream of mushroom soup and a zip of white wine to bring the tasty and bring it fast.
When "fast" is a must, or when you're simply too tired to think beyond what's already in your pantry or fridge, give that can of soup a second look. Dinner may be just a can opener away.
